So I’m glad to say that (for most of us) it’s finally summer! We’re finally free of tests, homework, projects, etc. Finally time to watch all the tv shows you like! Though this can get a little boring over time. So I’ve compiled a list of things you can do if you’re bored this summer. I’m thinking of making a little summer series. Let me know if you’d like that and if you have any suggestion, I’d greatly appreciate it! 🙂
1. Find a new hobby
During the months when you had school or university you probably couldn’t find the time to learn a new hobby. Whether it’s playing guitar, drawing, painting or maybe even blogging. Whatever it may be what better time to practice. After all you are bored or you wouldn’t be reading this post.
2. Get a job
Summer jobs can be a fun new experience. And you make money doing it. So stop being lazy and find a job. You can work at store, serve at a restaurant, babysit and much more.
3. Go to the beach
This all depends on where you live. You can also go to a swimming pool or lake, etc. Just any place you can swim. Go with friends and just hang out. Get a tan, read a book and just relax.
4. Go hiking
It’s a fun way to stay active and super fun. You can go alone and relax or with friends and make it a fun outing. So look for some beautiful local hiking trails and you’re ready to go.
5. Pretend to be a tourist
We tend to overlook all the great places in the areas we live ourselves so grab a tourist brochure and visit the places tourists would usually visit. Tour the city, visit monuments, go to the beach, etc.
Of course this depends if this is possible for you. But if you are able to travel then this is a great way to learn about new cultures, do tons of different activities, relax, etc. And you definitely won’t be bored!
A delicious way to keep yourself from being bored. Scroll through your pinterest to find some ideas and just be creative. You can invite a friend over and cook or bake together. And afterwards you can enjoy your creation while watching a movie.
8. Redecorate your room
Seeing as to how you now have more than enough time to do so, why not! Go to pinterest and find some ideas and create your dream room!
9. Do little diy projects
Once again you finally have time to do all the diy projects you wanted to do before but didn’t have the time to do so. So grab your supplies and diy away!
And lastly exercise or do yoga. It’s a great way to relax and an amazing way to get your summer body. Besides it’s not like you have an excuse not to do it 😉
Well that’s all I’ve got for now. I hope these were helpful and that you all have an amazing summer! And stick around for more posts like this. If you have any suggestions just leave them in the comments. And don’t forget to like and follow!
